Deadline for KY F&W game warden postions is 14 Feb 2016 Kentucky Fish and Wildlife seeks 20 conservation officer recruits; applications being taken Click on headline for complete story, links to apply online from KY Fish & Wildlife FRANKFORT, KY ( - Applications are now being accepted for conservation officers at the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. The deadline to apply is Sunday, February 14, 2016. The department plans to fill 20 positions statewide. Applicants must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and meet educational requirements or have experience in related fields. The first step is to submit an application online at careers.ky.gov. There are nine postings, some with multiple positions. Specific work counties are listed on each posting. Applicants should apply to Auto Req ID numbers 46121BR, 46122BR, 46123BR, 46124BR, 46125BR, 46126BR, 46127BR, 46128BR and 46129BR. Each number corresponds to specific county assignments. Applicants willing to work anywhere in the state may apply to each posting. Applicants must meet the position requirements, which can be found on the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources' website at Fish & Wildlife . Search under the keywords, Career in Law Enforcement Applicants must pass a written test, physical fitness test, swimming test, oral interview, psychological and drug screen, polygraph, background review and medical evaluation to be considered for selection. Applicants will be notified via email regarding the written test scheduling. Applicants should check their email, including junk mail folders, frequently after the postings close.
