District 3 Crews Complete Snow and Ice Operations By Wes Watt Public Information Officer, KTC District 3 Bowling Green, KY - After battling a minor winter storm Monday night, crews will wrap up snow & ice operations late this afternoon. The roads are in good shape following overnight salting operations and have remained in good shape throughout the day. Most routes are drying or have dried. Motorists are advised that current forecasts call for continued scattered snow showers overnight into Wednesday morning. Allow additional travel time to arrive at your destination. Slow down and be prepared for unexpected slick spots. KTC District 3 includes Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, Todd, Warren Counties in Kentucky.
