District 3 Road Condition 4amCT Update Tue 9 Feb 2016 (KY Transportation District 3: Serving Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, Todd, Warren Counties) By Wes Watts, Public Information Officer Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 3, Bowling Green, KY BOWLING GREEN, KY. (Tue 9 Feb 2016) - Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 crews worked into the evening and overnight salting roads as a minor winter storm moved into the area. The salting efforts are having a great impact as most roadways are clear. There are some patches and motorists need to be aware of some icy spots, but roadways are mainly just wet due to the salting efforts. Motorists should use caution and slower speeds during their morning commute. There are some great KYTC resources and tools available to keep folks informed about road conditions. The District 3 Facebook and Twitter account will be updated regularly with the most up-to-date information. The links to some resources are listed below.
