Marshall Green, 90, of Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his home.

Funeral service for Marshall Green will be 1pmCT, Wednesday, February, 10, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation after 11amCT, Wednesday. Burial will be in the Square Oak Cemetery with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.



Marshall Green, 90, Russell Co., KY, Adair native (1925-2016)


He was born September 7, 1925 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Harrison & Antha Blakey Green. He died Saturday, February 6, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 90 years, four months, and 30 days.

He was a Veteran of US Navy and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Green, and five brothers & sisters: Marie Green, Christine Rolfes, Crystal Green, Joe Green, and Jesse Butler Survivors include the following:
  • Two sisters: Teresa Woolbright, NC; and Doris Green Robison, Jeffersonville, IN

  • Several nieces and nephews
