Greg Thomas, Columbia, KY new President of KY Fair Association Thomas is the 5th Adair County Person to hold the title of President of The Kentucky State Fair and Horse Shows, in addition to Terry Harvey, Joe Johnson, Billy Wilson, and Grover Gilpin Click on headline for complete story, photo(s) Click on headline for complete story, photo(s) By Amanda Davis News from the Adair County Fair On January 17, 2016, Greg Thomas was promoted to President of The Kentucky Association of Fair and Horse Shows. Greg Thomas now becomes the 5th Adair County person to hold this prestigious title. He will represent all county fairs statewide until January 2017. Greg Thomas has been an Adair County Jaycee member since 1992. He was Chairperson of the Adair County Fair Association for approximately 20 years. Greg has served on multiple fair committees at the local and state levels which has included Chairperson of the Kentucky Miss Teen Fair Pageant. The Adair County native is currently the Health Preparedness Coordinator at Kentucky Department for Public Health. Many recognize Greg from being the man behind the camera for Thomas Photography or from his former position of Emergency Disaster Manager.
