Mr. Eunie H. Burris, age 95, of Green County, passed away early Friday morning, February 5, 2016 at his home.

The funeral services for Mr. Eunie H. Burris will be conducted at 1pmCT, Sunday, February 7, 2016, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Summershade Cemetery, Bramlett-Kemp Road, Greensburg, KY. Visitation is requested from 4pm until 8pmCT, Saturday, February 6, 2016 and after 7amCT, Sunday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.



He was born December 7, 1920. He died February 5, 2016, in Green County, KY, at the age of 95 years, one month, and 29 days.

He is survived by his wife, Flodenia Burris of Greensburg, KY, and the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Danny & Pam Burris of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and sons-in-law: Elaine & Charlie Simpson and Kim & Pee Diddle Darnell, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Tony Gray and Brian & Christy Burris all of Greensburg, KY

  • Eight great grandchildren

  • One half brother: Rollin Burris of Greensburg, KY

  • Two half sisters: Shirley Smith of Greensburg, KY; and Mary Elizabeth Burris of Edmonton, KY

  • Memorials are suggested to be made to the Gideon Bible fund and can be made at the funeral home.
