KSP arrests Glasgow man after 15 mile chase in Metcalfe County

Brandon C. Nelson faces many charges following pursuit on KY 70 and KY 1243. Metcalfe County SO assisting in continuing investigation

EDMONTON, KY - 32-year-old Brandon C. Nelson, of Glasgow, KY, was arrested on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at approximately 11:17pmCT, following a pursuit that covered approximately 15 miles on KY 70 and KY 1243 in Metcalfe County.



Nelson was operating a 1998 Honda SUV and was charged with Speeding, Reckless Driving, Driving Under the Influence 2nd offense, Failure to or Improper Signal, Disregarding a Stop Sign, One Headlight, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree - Police Officer.

Tpr. Charles Hedgespeth is investigating and was assisted by the Metcalfe County Sheriff's Department.

Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
