Campbellsville Elementary School students make fossils Click on headline for item with photo album By Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer/Grant Writer Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS), Campbellsville, KY Campbellsville Elementary School third-graders recently learned all about fossils – and then made their own. In Marcia Sharp’s science class, students studied fossils. To go along with that lesson, students learned how to make their own fossils in Adrienne Hash’s art class. Students used objects such as shells, toys, plastic plants and bugs and more to make imprints in clay. After the clay dried, students used watercolors to paint their fossils.
