The date and name of the Supreme Court Justice who will hear the case has not yet been posted. On April 17, 2015, Adair Circuit Court Judge Judy Vance ruled that the election was void and ordered a new election. The Adair County Board of Elections appealed the ruling and a three judge Court of Appeals panel voted 2-1 to reverse Judge Vance, and later, on September 11, 2015, denied a petition to re-hear the case.
