Joyce Payne Isenberg, 88, Summer Shade, KY (1927-2016)

She was a homemaker and a member of the Summer Shade Christian Church. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Flossie Pedigo Payne, and the widow of the late Jimmy Isenberg. She leaves 12 direct living descendants.

Joyce Payne Isenberg, age 88, of Summer Shade, KY, died January 24, 2016, at NHC is Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 2pmCT, at the Summer Shade Christian Church, with Brother Bob Priest officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 2:00- 8:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home and on Wednesday January 27, 2016 after 7:00 at the funeral home and at the Summer Shade Christian Church after 11:00 until time of services.

Born October 13, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Flossie Pedigo Payne. She died January 24, 2016, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 88 years, three months, and 11 days.

She was the widow of the late Jimmy Isenberg, who died October 14, 2014.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Summer Shade Christian Church.

Survivors include:
  • Four sons: Larry (Rose Mary) Isenberg, Glasgow, KY; Donald (Phylis) Isenberg, Glasgow, KY; Terry (Christina) Isenberg, Summer Shade, KY; and Chris (Redonna) Isenberg, Summer Shade, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Erin, Courtney, Madison, and Parker

  • And four great grandchildren: Colby, Oakley, Kailee and Preslie.
