Ervin Kemp, 61, Russell County, KY (1954-2016)

He was a retired city maintence worker and the husband of Ann (Bell) Kemp of Jamestown, KY. He was a native of Noblesville, IN and a resident of Jamestown, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Dorothey Coverdale Kemp and the late Roscoe Kemp. His wife, Ann Bell Kemp, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Ervin Kemp, 61, of Jamestown, KY, passed away January 25, 2016, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral Services for Ervin Kemp will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 1pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Friends may visit after 5pmCT on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY.


Ervin Kemp, 61, Russell County, KY (1954-2016)


Ervin was born in Noblesville, Hamilton County, IN, July 24, 1954. He was a son of the late Dorothy (Coverdale) and Roscoe Kemp. He died Monday, January 25, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 61 years, six months, and one day.

He was a retired city maintence worker and the husband of Ann (Bell) Kemp of Jamestown, KY.

He is survived by the following:
  • A son: Brian Kemp, of Jamestown, KY

  • A daughter: Crystal Kemp, of Jamestown, KY

  • A son: Jason Crider, of Noblesville, IN

  • A sister: Kathleen Endicott, of Noblesville, IN

  • Three grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Horace and Jerry Kemp.
