Crews still remain focused on clearing A and B priority routes reporting that A routes still have areas that remain covered. Additional contract crews equipped with skid steers and graders have been called in to assist counties in clearing roadways. With the amount of ice that blanketed the pavement followed by the large amount of snowfall these pieces of equipment are our best resource at clearing our roadways. The help of rising temperatures and the sunshine today will also assist our crews as they work to clear as many roads as possible.
