Clora J. Elmore, 80, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Thursday January 21, 2016, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 1pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Friends may visit after 10amCT, on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY

She was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on December 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Pearl (Brumley) and James Johnson. She died Thursday, January 21, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 80, one month, an 12 days.

She was a homemaker and the widow of James Elmore.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Brenda Hammond, of Jamestown, KY; and Susie Marcum, of Alpha, KY

  • Three sons: J.F., Donnie and Jeffrey Elmore all of Jamestown, KY

  • Two sisters: Joyce Brown, and Reba Brumley both of Jamestown, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Thirteen great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James Elmore; four children, Mary, Kathy, David and Ronald Elmore; grandson, Gary Elmore; granddaughter, Amy Sue Marcum; two sisters, Eva Johnson and Irene Hall; and one brother, Murl Johnson. Send condolences to the family of Clora J. Elmore
