Aid on the way for trucks blocking Cumberland Parkway

Adair County Judge Mike Stephens reported at 6:05pmCT that he was working to get help to clear the problems of the many trucks off the road on the Cumberland Parkway. He said there is only one wrecker in the area capable of assisting the big tractor trailer semis.

At 8:34pmCT - Sat 22 Jan 2016 - he messaged that he had received notification from Kentucky State Police Post 15 personnel on the scene that heavy wreckers, manpower, KY National Guard and Emergency response team are now on the Cumberland Parkway clearing up all the 18 wheeler wrecks.

He messaged: "Thanks, Governor Bevin, Max & Bam. Response time was less than two hours.
