Want your GED high school diploma? Help is free

Talking about New Year's Resolutions, LeAnna Bennett, assistant program director for Adair County Kentucky Adult Education, says to let them include getting your GED.

The first step in getting your GED is to take the "Ready Test", a practice exercise to check for any areas where up-front help may be needed before the actual exam, she says. At the local Adult Education Center, 108 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY, the information and assistance are available for free to help an individual get started.

The courses are divided into Reading/Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies. If a person has a weakness, help begins there to help assure the best results.

There are no age limitations after age 18. Bennett reminds us, "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
