Adair County Board of Education closed today 22 Jan 2016 For all closings received at CM today, Friday, 22 Jan 2016, see EVENTS NOTE: There will be no charge for simple closings announcements today, but be sure to give street and number and town for address and a means for us to contact you. Superintendent Alan W. Reed called at 6:08amCT, to announce to the public and office employees that the Central Office, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, will be closed today. "For the safety of our employees the Adair County Board of Education offices at 1204 Greensburg Street will be closed today," he writes. "For a good 20 minutes I've been attempting to 'burn" a hole through the ice on my windshield. That was after numerous attempts to get frozen car doors open," he writes.
