James Marshall Epperson, 65, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home.

The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held later.



James Marshall Epperson, 65, Adair Co., KY (1950-2016)

He was born August 4, 1950, to the late Joe Stanley and Dorothy Garnett Epperson. He died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 65 years, five months, and 15 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Rodney and Henry Wayne "Mr. Bounce" Epperson.
  • One daughter: Jeanine Barnett of Hixson, Tennessee

  • One brother: Joe Stanley Epperson, Jr., of Louisville, KY

  • Two sisters: Elaine Epperson and Susan Epperson both of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Aaron and Ceondre Barnett

  • One nephew: Daunque Epperson

  • Several other relatives and friends
