S. Sexton: Likes Mr. Burns' suggestion; KRS has rules By Shannon Sexton, Chair, PAC Mr. Burns, nothing would please us more than to stipulate what revenue from legal alcohol sales can or cannot be used for. The reality is, Kentucky law tells us what alcohol revenue must be used toward (policing, 911, etc). Although law dictates where the alcohol money goes once it\'s collected, the original funds marked for those items will be freed up and will be at the disposal of our elected officials. Once the time comes, it\'s important we contact our elected officials and voice our opinions as to where the extra money will go. Thank you so much for commenting. It is our hope that more people will get involved so that we may all work together for progress in Adair County. - ShannonComments re article 80267 Brandon Burns Use alcohol tax money to pay off hospital debt This story was posted on 2016-01-20 11:07:26
