By Wes Watt, Public Information Officer, KYTC, District 3, Bowling Green, KY

BOWLING GREEN, KY. (Wed 20 Jan 2016) - Crews have been out treating roadways however most roads are either covered or partially covered with snow. The routes that have been plowed and treated are showing signs of improvement, however the heaviest snow fall for the district is expected to arrive after 5amCT. Roads could deteriorate if the snow fall is severe. Our crews are working as hard and as fast as they can. Please be patient.

Photos have been uploaded to the District 3 Facebook Page and Twitter account. Motorists should check road conditions and forecast before departing. The KY 511 website or smartphone app is a great resource to check out road conditions. Above all motorists need to allow extra travel time and please slow down while traveling.
