Joe Hutcherson, Taylor Co., KY, Adair native (1934-2016)

He was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He was a retired woodworker having been employed by McMahan Furniture and with his son at Hutcherson Woodworking. He was born in Adair County, KY, the son of the late Omer & Ethel Martin Hutchison. He was the widower of Aileen Brockman Hutcherson, his wife of 58 years.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenuem Campbellsville, KY by Dr. Joel Patton. Burial will beCampbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Tuesday, January 19,2016, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home



Joe Hutcherson, Taylor Co., Adair native (1934-2016)


Joe Hutcherson was the son of the late Omer Hutcherson and Ethel Martin Hutcherson. He was born January 30, 1934, in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 17 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.

He was a retired woodworker having worked at McMahan Furniture and with his son at Hutcherson Woodworking.

He united in marriage to Aileen Brockman on December 4, 1955. She preceded him in death October 18, 2014.

He is survived by:
  • One son: Terry Hutcherson and wife, Connie, Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Jennifer Hutcherson and Jessica Hutcherson of Campbellsville, KY

  • One niece: Joyce Reeder

  • One great-nephew: Clark Wheeler and wife, Kathleen

  • A special dog: Hutch

  • and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Frank Reeder.
