Ruth M. Houk, 62, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Jan.10,2016, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016, 1:00pm at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, in Jamestown, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Jimmy Bunch officiating. Friends may visit after 10amCT, on Wednesday at the funeral home, Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.

Ruth was born May 31, 1953, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY a daughter of the late Barbara (Hammond) and Forrest Garner. She died Sunday, January 10, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 62 years, seven months, and 10 days.

Ruth was the wife of Boyce Houk, of Russell Springs, KY.

She is survived by:
  • Four sons: Robert Jason Houk, Franklin, IN; Jeremy Wayne Houk, Columbia, KY; and Joshua David Houk and Jacob Desha Houk, both of Cambellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Garner.
