Anthony Hogue, 47, Liberty, KY (1968-2016)

He was a native of Casey County, a resident of the county at the time of his death in Fayette County, KY, and his final resting place will be in the county of his birth. He was a welder, fabricator, and carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and also loved Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies. Both his parents and his wife of almost 23 years, Roxanna (Ann) Wesley Hogue, survives.He leaves seven direct living descendants.

Anthony Hogue, age 47, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at the Brush Creek Pentecostal Church with Bro. Rick Hogue and Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Visitation will be held from 10amCT/11amET until 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, on Tuesday at the Church.



Anthony Hogue, 47, Liberty, KY (1968-2016)


Born August 10, 1968, in Casey Co., KY, he was the son of Larry Hogue and Louise Lee Grider. He died Friday, January 8, 2016, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 47 years, fourmonths, and 29 days.

Anthony was a welder, fabricator, and carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and also loved Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies.

Survivors include his wife, whom he married on January 18, 1993, Roxanna "Ann" Wesley Hogue of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • Father, Larry (Linda) Hogue of Liberty, KY

  • Mother: Louise Lee Grider of Liberty, KY

  • Sons: Austin Hogue and Jacob Hogue, both of Liberty, KY

  • Daughters: Ashley Hogue of Stanford, KY; and Jessica Hogue of Liberty, KY

  • Brothers: Rick (Deborah) Hogue and Allan Hogue, both of Liberty, KY; and Michael (Neina) Hogue of Indianapolis, IN

  • Sisters: Sherry (Dave) Delong of Liberty, KY; Andrea (David) Neal of Indianapolis, IN; Melissa Prado of Indianapolis, IN; Amanda (Chris) Luster of Lincoln Co., KY; and Kari (Junior) McQueary of Liberty, KY

  • And three grandchildren: Adalyn, Addian, and Ransome
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nikki Lynn.
