By Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer
Campbellsville Independent School District

Campbellsville High School's "Voice of the Eagles" was honored on Friday, January 8, 2016.

Michael "Spanky" Despain has been the "Voice of the Eagles" and announced at CHS basketball games for the past 12 years.

However, Despain decided to step down as the CHS announcer this season to concentrate on being an announcer in other capacities.

Despain was presented a plaque in honor of his years of service to the CHS Eagles.

CHS Athletic Director Tim Davis and assistant athletic director Katie Wilkerson made the presentation.
