Mrs. Glenda Jean (Cox) Rainwater McKenzie, Taylor Co., KY (1944-2016) 
Mrs. McKenzie was a retired nurse. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She united in marriage to the late Kenneth Rainwater, who preceded her in death in 1996. Later she united in marriage to the late Darian McKenzie, who preceded her in death in 2013.Click on headline for complete obituary Mrs. Glenda Jean (Cox) Rainwater McKenzie of La Vergne, TN, formerly of Campbellsville, was born on July 30, 1944 to Ina Ivadean (Pittman) Cox and the late Kenneth Odell Cox. She entered into rest on January 4, 2016 at her home in La Vergne surrounded by her family. She was 71 years, 5 months, and 5 days of age. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. McKenzie on Thursday, January 7, 2015 at 11amCT/12pmNoonET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Don Gowin will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The family will received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 6, from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET.
