BJ Hagy: Old military maps often handy finding older cemeteries BJ HAGY writes: Hey Ed - Perhaps someone with some military connection(s), such as US Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard can be contacted to see if they can get access to a military map that shows the area(s) around the county where this cemetery might have been. Older military maps especially will show where older cemeteries may have been. Not necessarily by the name of the cemetery but will show where one may be. It may be overgrown with undergrowth or well concealed by the woods. Just a thought. Good luck. - BJ HAGYComments re article 79944 Query received Wants information on BrawnerSmith Cemetery This story was posted on 2016-01-06 17:07:25
