Pursuit starting at Amazon ends N of Saloma What started as a stop for traffic violation continues as 20 mile chase from Amazon in Campbellsville ending 20 miles N of Saloma. 34-year old Campbellsville man incarcerated, and now faces multiple allegations. Campbellsville Police Department, TCSO, and Kentucky State Police involved. Click on headline for complete story From Campbellsville Police Department On Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at approximately 1:54amET, Officer Brian Morgan with the Campbellsville Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. As Officer Morgan initiated his emergency equipment, the vehicle sped off. After pursuing the vehicle for approximately 20 miles, the vehicle ran off the roadway into a fence, in the Saloma area of Taylor County. Bo James Stancill, age 34, of Campbellsville was arrested and charged with the following: Reckless Driving, Fleeing / Evading Police 1st degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, Disregarding Traffic Control Device, Criminal Mischief 2nd, No Insurance, Disregarding Stop Sign, and Resisting Arrest.The pursuit began at Amazon and ended approximately 2.5 miles north of Saloma on KY 527. Stancill was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center, Campbellsville, KY. Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Department, Taylor County Sheriff's Office, and the Kentucky State Police. Investigating Officer: Officer Brian Morgan. Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt.
