Merl Drue Wiggins, Sr., 92, Gradyville, KY (1923-2015) He was the patriarch of a distinguished Adair County family. Mr. Wiggins was a member of Columbia Christian Church, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving in World War II, a member of the American Legion and was retired from the oil industry. He was a native of Haynesville, LA, and a resident of Gradyville, KY, at the time of his death. His wife of 70 years, Rita Tullier Wiggins, survives. He leaves 12 direct living descendants spanning four generations. Mr. Wiggins was a member of Columbia Christian Church, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving in World War II, a member of the American Legion and was retired from the oil industry.
