Pinewood Shopping Center not in Holladay Place, not in City Comments re article 79756 Pinewood Shopping Center coming to Victoria Pike writes: Inquiring minds want to know exactly where in Holladay Place The Pinewood Shopping Center will be located. Is it adjoining the Walmart property or where? Heavy earth moving equipment appears to be located on the other side of Burkesville Road as of today. I am sure it is there for a purpose. Do tell, since you have piqued our curiosity. As Greater Bliss bureau chief, I feel it my duty to get to the bottom of this mystery. It is not only not in Holladay Place, it is also not within the city limits of Columbia. This means it is not subject to City of Columbia property, payroll, and insurance taxes, but will have CAUD water and sewer available and, maybe, city gas. We haven't been able to find that out in the middle of the night, though the exact location was confirmed with Mike Stephens during the day, Saturday.
