Mr. Richard Clark, 87, Green County, KY (1928-2015)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Maple Hill United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army and was a life-long farmer. He was the son of the late Joseph Stanton Clark and Maggie Lou Sullivan Clark He wife of 57 years, Mrs. Leotta Jean Martin Clark, survives. He leaves 15 direct and four step living descendants.

Mr. Richard Clark, age 87, of Green County, passed away at his home on Friday morning, December 25, 2015.

The funeral services for Mr. Richard Clark will be conducted at 2pmCT, Sunday, December 27, 2015, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY with Bro Wilburn Bonta and Bro. Garnett Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Edwards & Clark Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pmCT unitl 9pmCT on Saturday, December 26, 2015, and after 7amCT, Sunday until time of the service. Pallbearers will be Joey Clark, Wayne Allen Clark, Doug Clark, Cody Larimore, Andy Clark, Laura Davis, Jessica Clark and Whitney Larimore



Mr. Richard Clark, 87, Green County, KY (1928-2015)


Mr. Richard Clark, of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Joseph Stanton Clark and Maggie Lou Sullivan Clark, was born on May 11, 1928 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, December 25, 2015 at his residence in Green County, Kentucky. He was 87 years, seven months, and 14 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Maple Hill United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army and was a life-long farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Leotta Jean Martin Clark of Green County, KY whom he married on April 12, 1958, and the following:
  • Two daughters & sons-in-law: Becky & Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis and Mary Ann & Terry Larimore, all of Green County, KY

  • Three sons and a daughter-in-law: Joey Clark, Wayne Allen Clark, and Doug & Janice Clark, all of Green County, KY

  • One brother and sister in law: Larry & Bertie Lou Clark of Green County, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Debbie & Nick Shuffett, Carol & Joey Henderson, Laura Davis, Whitney Larimore, Cody Larimore, Jessica Clark, and Andy Clark, all of Green County, KY

  • A step-granddaughter: Emily Larimore of Hodgenville, KY

  • Three great-grandchildren

  • Three step-great-grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Clark was also preceded in death by five sisters: Lois Wilcoxson, Isobel Clark, Lou Buckner Bishop, Nell Jones, and Elizabeth Ann Clark; two brothers: Chunk Clark and Nuddy Clark.
