Shirley Ann Cheek, age 74, of Sparta, Georgia, formerly of Campbellsville, KY died Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery, 4571 Speck Ridge Road, Elk Horn, KY (in Feathersburg, Adair County, KY). The family requests visitation from 12pmCT-2pmET, Saturday at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Shirley Ann Cheek, 74, Taylor Co., KY (1941-2015)

She was born April 29, 1941 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Grayden and Ruby Jackson. She died Sunday, December 20, 2015, in Macon, GA, at the age of seven months, and 21 days.

She had moved from Campbellsville, KY, to Georgia 16 years ago.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Dee Cheek of Sparta, Georgia, and the following:
  • Two sons: Billy Joe Carmickle and his wife, Debbie of Campbellsville, KY; and Terry Carmickle and his wife, Donna, of Louisville, KY

  • A daughter: Lorie Carmickle of Campbellsville, KY

  • And several grandchildren
