He was the son of the late Demmon and Annie Edwards Parnell and the widower of Joyce Edwards Parnell. He leaves five direct and one step living descendants. Funeral service will be Monday, December 21, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Herbert Janes, Bro. Timmy Glass, and Sister Rita Houk officiating. Burial in the Parnell Family Cemetery, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 4pmCT, Sunday, December 20, 2015. Donnie Joe Parnell, 66, Adair Co., KY (1949-2015) He was born December 9, 1949. He was the son of the late Demmon and Annie Edwards Parnell. He died Friday, December 18, 2015, in Keltner, Adair County, KY, at the age of 66 years, nine days. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Edwards Parnell; a son; Jackie Parnell, and a step-son; Steve Chapman.
