Donnie Ray Garrett, 70, Metcalfe Co., KY (1945-2015)

He was a retired custodian of Metcalfe County High School. He was a member of a respect East Metcalfe County, KY family. He was the son of the late Rollin and Jewell Syra Garrett. His wife, Fay Feese Garrett, survives. He leaves eight direct living descendants. He attended Elm View United Methodist Church in Bridgeport, KY

Donnie Ray Garrett age 70 of Edmonton passed away Friday, December 18, 2015, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, December 21, 2015, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial to follow in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens, Edmonton, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Sunday, December 20, 2015 and after 9amCT, Monday, at the funeral home.

Donnie Ray Garrett, 70, Metcalfe Co., KY (1945-2015)

He was born July 26, 1945. He was the son of the late Rollin and Jewell Syra Garrett. He died Friday, December 18, 2015, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 70 years, four month, and 22 days.

Donnie was a retired custodian of Metcalfe County High School and attended the Elm View United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Fay Feese Garrett of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • Two children: David Garrett and wife Tracie of Chandler, IN; and Sarah Garrett Hoy of Bowling Green, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Kayla, Sklar and Haylee Hoy; and Natalie, Tristan and Isaac Garrett
