Campbellsville Middle School students sampled foods from all around the world on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

CMS students In Tiarra Cecil's sixth-grade social studies classes hosted the annual Cultural Food Fair and brought food from nearly 20 countries for their classmates to try.

Students researched their countries and prepared posters to tell students what they learned. Part of the unit was to learn which foods are popular in their country, and then hand out samples at the fair.

The food fair is the culmination of a more than month-long project studying other cultures around the world.

Countries featured included Mexico, Ireland, France, Jamaica, Argentina, Japan, Great Britain, Sri Lanka, Italy, Germany and many others. Calen McKinney, the writer, is Public Information Officer for the Campbellsville Independent School District
