Roger Dean (Wooley) Smith, 46, Columbia, KY, was pronounced dead, Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10:45amCT, on the Rocky Hill Road, Columbia, KY.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11amCT, at the Turner Cemetery, Chance Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Elbert Hadley officiating. Interment in the Turner Cemetery, Chance, KY. Visiting will be at 10:30amCT, Saturday, at the Turner Cemetery.



Roger Dean (Wooley) Smith, 46, Columbia, KY (1969-2015)


He was born February 27, 1969 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of Ralph Smith and the late Rilda Mae Wooldridge Smith. He died in Columbia, Adair County, KY, on Friday, December 11, 2015, at the age of 46 years, nine months, and 14 days.

Besides his mother he was preceded in death by an infant brother: Jerry Lee Smith.

He is survived:
  • His father: Ralph H. Smith and wife Sharon of Fairplay, KY

  • Two brothers: Terry Smith of Columbia, KY, and Dwayne Smith of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Mary Elaine Smith of Columbia, KY; and Angela Renea Janes of Columbia, KY

  • Several other relatives and friends
