Mayor Curtis Hardwick: Airport getting additional $500,000 grant Economic Development Boost I am informing the media today that I have received information from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Aviation, that the Columbia/Adair County Airport has been awarded $500,000 to remove and and replace the fuel system there and with money left over, the airport can do blacktopping and/or make needed repairs. Our long term goal is to expand our airport so that corporate and state jets can land here. The expansion will hopefully help us in recruiting. - Mayor Curtis Hardwick December 11, 2015 This story was posted on 2015-12-11 10:08:35
