She was a homemaker and a member of New Victory Baptist Church. She was native of Logan County, WV and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of her death. Her husband, Lester Lowe, survives. She leaves four direct living descendants who homes are in Adair County, KY and Pocahontas and Chicago, Illinois.

Kay Lowe, 57,of Jamestown, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2015 at her residence, in Jamestown/

Funeral Services will be Friday, December 11, 2015, at 10amCT, at New Victory Baptist Church, 460 Arlis Hale Road., Russell Springs, KY. Friends may visit on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the church from 5pm to to 8pmCT. Burial will be in the Blakey Cemetery in Columbia, KY



Kay Lowe, 57, Russell Co., KY (1958-2015)


Kay was born in Beckley, Raleigh County, WV, on November 18, 1958. She was a daughter of the late Wilma (Boyd) and Oscar Green. She died Tuesday, December 7, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 57 years, 19 days.

She was a member of New Victory Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and the wife of Lester Lowe of Jamestown, KY, who survives.

Kay is also survived by:
  • One daughter: Tabitha (Robert) Meadows. of Pocahontas, IL

  • Two sons: Michael (Michelle) Green and Alexander Molter, of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Joseph (Buster) Boyd, of Chicago, IL

  • One grandchild

  • A host of nieces and nephews, along with four beloved pets
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Becky Navarro.
