New Albany, IN man sentenced for Interstate Transportation for Prostitution Drove women from Indiana to Louisville to perform commercial sex acts Click on headline for complete story From U.S. Attorney's Office Department of Justice, Western District of Kentucky LOUISVILLE, KY - (Wed 9 Dec 2015) United States Attorney John E. Kuhn, Jr. today announced the 30-month prison sentence of a New Albany, Indiana, man who previously pleaded guilty to charges of interstate transportation for prostitution, by Chief Judge Joseph H. McKinley, Jr. in U.S. District Court. David McNeary, age 34, pleaded guilty to three charges in a grand jury indictment on August 3, 2015. He was charged by grand jury indictment on May 20, 2015, and was arrested Friday, May 22, 2015, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. McNeary was placed on home detention with work release. According to the plea agreement, between January 2014 and March 2014, McNeary, knowingly transported four different adult females during at least three different trips from Indiana to Kentucky, with the intent that they engage in prostitution. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Amanda Gregory and was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This story was posted on 2015-12-09 20:53:31
