John H. Gadberry passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Springfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was 86.

Graveside services are 11:30amCT/12:30pmET, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Spaw Cemetery. Burial will follow service. Visitation is Thursday from 9amCT/10amET until 11amCT/12pmNoonET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.



John H. Gadberry, 86, Casey Co., KY (1929-2015)


Born May 10, 1929 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence Gilmer Gadberry and Molly Emiline Wesley Gadberry. He died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in Springfield, Washington County, KY, at the age of 86 years, six months, and 28 days.

He was a former employee of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and retired from Penn Ventilators. He attended the Ferndale Baptist Church. John had polio as a child but lived a long and full life.

Survivors include:
  • Two brothers: William Gadberry of Junction City, KY; and Billy Ray Dunkin of Liberty, KY

  • Three sisters: Mildred Jones and Shirley Wesley both of Danville, KY, and Ruby Dick of Science Hill.
