The students represented multiple grade levels and completed an online application to attend this trip, funded by the KY AHED grant. Students were received at CU by admissions counselor, Elijah Coffey, and given a campus tour followed by pizza on campus and then an information session by Coffey. Before leaving the campus students stopped at Ransdell Chapel for a group picture. Santa was even spotted on this trip! No trip is complete with the famous "bus selfie" with the Metcalfe Spirit towel. Metcalfe County High School students were accompanied by MCHS FRYSC Coordinator, Judy Thompson and Eric Sexton, GRREC College and Career Readiness Counselor. This trip was funded through the KY AHED grant and in-kind services provided by Metcalfe County Schools FRYCS and kidFRIENDLy, Race to the Top grant.
