Ottis Lee Sandusky, age 78, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Liberty, KY on January 19, 1937 to the late William Thomas and Flora Alice Glover Sandusky.

Visitation will be held 5pmCT/6pmET till 8pmCT/9pmET Wednesday December 9, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Funeral Services will be held 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Thursday December 10, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Keith Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.

Ottis Lee Sandusky, was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on January 19, 1937. He was the son of the late William Thomas and Flora Alice Glover Sandusky. He died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 19 days.

He was a mason, former owner of Sandusky's Barber Shop, U.S. Air Force Veteran and was a member of Atwood's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his spouse, Lois Murphy Sandusky, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Joan and (Charles) Graves of Georgetown, KY; Jean and (Andy) Greynolds of Liberty, KY; and Jo Ann and (Darin) Pratt of Liberty, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Jenna and Mason Graves and Abbie Greynolds

  • Three brothers: Charles Sandusky of Arizona; W.J. Sandusky of South Carolina; and Jerry Sandusky of Liberty, KY

  • Two Sisters: Inez Griffith of Liberty, KY; and Loretta Murphy of Russell Springs, KY
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Lyle and Sonny; and two sisters, Lucille and Maxine.
