LWC Christmas Carnival 2015 draws 617

A total of 617 area residents attended the fifth-annual Lindsey Wilson College Christmas Carnival, held in the Doris and Bob Holloway Health & Wellness Center. In addition to a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, the carnival included games and activities for children, and local vendors also had booths of their wares. The annual event is planned, organized and operated by students in LWC’s recreation, tourism and sport management program as well as the student staff of the Holloway Health & Wellness Center. - Duane Bonifer

Elf escorts Santa into Holloway Wellness Center

Santa Claus -- aka Lindsey Wilson College Associate Professor of Communication Dan Koger -- is escorted Saturday afternoon into the Doris and Bob Holloway Health & Wellness Center by LWC student Jamie Bratcher of Louisville, KY,, dressed as a Santa elf. A total of 617 area residents attended the fifth-annual LWC Christmas Carnival. In addition to a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, the carnival included games and activities for children, and local vendors also had booths of their wares. The annual event is planned, organized and operated by students in LWC’s recreation, tourism and sport management program as well as the student staff of the Holloway Health & Wellness Center. - Duane Bonifer
