He was a merchant, an employee at Owens Men's Wear, co-owner of Ed's KY Auto Store, a plumber, and worked at Westlake Regional Hospital for 16 years. He also worked at NAPA Auto Parts in Columbia, KY. He was a native of Fairplay, KY, and a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Ed & Alta Blair Taylor, and the widower of Nelda Estes Taylor. He leaves three direct living descendants.
