State light shields could spare need for cow blinders

Robert Cumming writes:
My friend Steve Lawhorn who lives in Russell Springs along side the brand new westbound Cumberland Parkway-US 127 exit said the state highway department agreed to put light shields on portions of the bulb clusters on those hundred foot tall interchange light poles next to his house. He remarked he liked them as the desired effect was obtained and actually quite pleasing to the eyes at night. - Robert Cumming
