Charles Lee Brown, 61, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Funeral service for Charles Lee Brown will be at 10amCT, Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating. Visitation after will be after 5pmCT, Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Interment in the Rexroat Cemetery in Russell County, KY.

Charles Lee Brown, 61, Russell Co., KY (1954-2015)

He was born October 7, 1954, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Clarence & Catherine Miller Brown. He died Sunday, November 15, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 61 years, one month, and eight days.

He was a cook at the Senior Citizens Center.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Brown and a brother, Eddie Wayne Brown (RCHS '67. Died November 1968 while on a recon mission when the aircraft he was aboard was shot down Viet Nam).

Survivors include the following:
  • Wife: Opie Brown, Russell Springs, KY

  • Son: Chad Brown, Russell Springs, KY
