Quincy McQueary, 38, of Corbin, Kentucky, formerly of Russell County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Celebration of Life services will be at 4pmCT, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church, Sunshine Road, Russell Springs, Kentucky with Carolyn Casey officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunshine Road, Russell Springs, Kentucky.


Quincy McQueary, 38, Russell Co., KY (1976-2015)


She was born on Thursday, November 18, 1976 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Danny (Dee) Gosser, Russell Springs, KY, and Carolyn (Jerry) Fox, Russell Springs, KY, who survive. She died Friday, November 13, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 38 years, 11 months, and 27 Days.

She was of Baptist faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is survived by:
  • Two step brothers: J.R. Douglas, Russell Springs, Kentucky; and Eddie Douglas, Russell Springs, Kentucky

  • One step sister:Debbie Mann, Russell Springs, Kentucky

  • One daughter: LeAngela Carter, Corbin, Kentucky

  • The sons: Joseph Riley, Hazard, Kentucky; Timber Copley, New Castle, Indiana; and Stefan Smith, Russell Springs, Kentucky

  • Three brothers: Shane (Barbara) Walters, Russell Springs, Kentucky; Darrin (Melinda) Walters, Columbia, Kentucky; and Daniel Gosser, Russell Springs, Kentucky

  • Four grandchildren

  • and a host of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stancy Gosser.
