Loraine Carmicle Cundiff Beal, 87, Casey Co., KY (1928-2015)

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bernetta Cooper Carmicle and the widow of first husband Herbert "Jack" Cundiff, Jr. and second husband Howard Beal. She was the matriarch of a large, respected family 45 descendants.

Loraine Carmicle Cundiff Beal, age 87, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday November 9, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday November 14, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Bro. Brad Teubert officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pmCT/6pmET on Friday November 13, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.



Loraine Carmicle Cundiff Beal, 87, Casey Co., KY (1928-2015)


She was born in Liberty, KY on March 2, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bernetta Cooper Carmicle. She died Monday, November 9, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 87 years, eight months, and seven days.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • Three Daughters: Donna Dillman of Cincinnati, OH, Pamela Loveless of Nancy and Sharon Grider of Liberty, KY

  • One son: Gregory Cundiff of Liberty, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Twenty-one great grandchildren

  • Seven great great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Linda Carmicle of Liberty, KY; and Brenda Anderson of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Larry Carmicle of Liberty, KY; and Jerry Carmicle of Plano, TX
Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her step mother: Minnie Cooper Carmicle' first husband: Herbert "Jack" Cundiff Jr; second husband: Howard Beal; and One Son: David Cundiff.
