By Charles Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Mon 09 Nov 2015) - The Lindsey Wilson football team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the latest NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Monday. The Blue Raiders garnered 176 total voting points from the panel of head coaches that are national raters. Lindsey Wilson is coming off a 30-22 road win over Bethel (TN) on Sat 7 Nov 2015. The Blue Raiders shut out the Wildcats 17-0 in the opening half, and later thwarted a comeback attempt by Bethel after a sack by Michael Brooks on fourth down turned the ball over to Lindsey Wilson for victory formation. The win ended a two-game losing skid for the Blue Raiders, who improve to 7-2 on the year. Morningside (Iowa) took over the top spot in the poll as they garnered 340 voting points and 14 first-place votes. Baker (KS) sits at No. 2 with 321 points and Grand View (Iowa) completes the top three at No. 3 with 307 voting points.
