Mabel Bryson Hayden, 85, Cumberland Co., KY, Adair native (1930-2015) Mabel attended the Morgan School, Marrowbone High School, Lindsey Wilson College, and Western Kentucky University. She attended graduate school at George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, TN. She was a teacher and school librarian for seven years, and later was director of the Cumberland County Public Library until retirement. She was a member of Amandaville Christian Church but had attended the Burkesville Baptist Church most of her adult life. Mabel Bryson Hayden, 85, Cumberland Co., KY, Adair native (1930-2015) Mabel Bryson Hayden was born in Adair County, KY on January 24, 1930. She was the daugher of the late Oliver Lind Bryson and Mattie Bloyd Bryson. She passed away on Monday, November 09, 2015 in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 85 years, nine months, and 16 days. Mabel attended the Morgan School, Marrowbone High School, Lindsey Wilson College, and Western Kentucky University. She attended graduate school at George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, TN. She was a teacher and school librarian for seven years, and later was director of the Cumberland County Public Library until retirement.
