Early report from Chamber president Brenda Mann: Treats on the Town is off to a great start.
The Jaycees cotton candy booth is once again a favorite. Greg Thomas and Billy Pickett and the Jaycees started the evening with 950 bags, and supplies to make lots more. There are still two hours left of treats, candy and fun, so come be a part of Treats on the Town!!!

Mt. Carmel United Methodist was well stocked and ready for Treats on the Town at 3:45pmCT. From left, Linda Garner, Courtney Grant and Jessica Wilkinson, and the Pastor, Bro. Lanny Garner. Crowds poured onto Square early for Treats on the Town

Shortly after the 4pmCT opening, Halloween Trick or Treaters lined the perimeter of the Columbia Public Square for Treats on the Town. Despite the threat of rain, the celebration turned out to be one of the most successful in the years the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce has presented it.
