Christine Flatt Coomer, 99, Adair Co., KY (1916-2015) She was a the matriarch of a large, highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Willie & Bell Jessie Flatt and the widow of Arnold Coomer. She leaves 17 direct living descendants. Mrs. Coomer had professed faith in Christ at a young age and was of the Baptist faith. Interment will be in Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:30pmCT, Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the funeral home. She died Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 99 years, two months, and 22 days. She was the widow of Arnold Coomer who preceded in death on Octobert 20, 1993 She was also preceded in death by infant daughter Betty Frances Coomer; one granddaughter Teresia Wilson, in 1958; one son Charles Thomas Coomer in 1957; five brothers, Ira, Noah, Tommy, Delbert & Jessee Flatt, and four sisters, Sada Janes, Vada Gowen, Dorothy League, and Edna Fudge.
